Privacy statement
AutoScript is designed around local browser storage. This page explains what the extension needs and where your information goes.
Stored locally
Scripts, command parameters, schedules, recent status and form profiles are stored in Chrome's local extension storage on your device. The current version does not sync this data to an AutoScript server.
Website access
AutoScript requests access to web pages so commands can inspect text, find controls, fill fields and perform the actions you configure. Page content is processed inside the browser for the workflow; the extension does not send it to the developer.
Exports and passwords
Script export is optional. When you choose a password, the file content is encrypted locally using AES-GCM with a key derived through PBKDF2. AutoScript does not store or recover your password. Keep a safe copy: a lost password means the export cannot be restored.
Website and contact
The product website may produce ordinary hosting logs such as IP address, time and requested path. If you email support, the information you send is used to answer your request.
Control and deletion
You can edit or delete scripts and form profiles in the extension. Uninstalling the extension normally removes its local extension storage. Export anything you wish to retain before uninstalling.
